The New Columbia Joist Company is a subsidiary of Bouras Industries Inc. We offer a full line of Steel Joist Institute approved steel joists and joist girders. We provide K, LH, and DLH series joists designed per the specifications of the Steel Joist Institute (SJI) and their design is checked and approved by the Institute. The chords and web members are made of hot rolled high strength steel having a minimum yield strength of 50000 psi. The shielded arc welding method is used to join all members together. The joists are given a prime coat of gray paint meeting SJI specifications before leaving the manufacturing plant. Design information and budget pricing is available upon request.
